In the heart of Patna, Bihar, stands **Antarjyoti Balika Vidyalaya**, a remarkable residential school for visually impaired girls, run by **Bihar Netraheen Parishad**. Established on **27 June 1993**, this institution has been transforming lives through education, rehabilitation, vocational training and empowerment. Today, approximately **110 girls receive completely free education and residential support**, learning not only academic subjects but also Braille, computer skills, music, dance, judo and essential life skills. The institution has helped 25 former students secure employment, while others have pursued higher education, including PhDs, B.Ed and special education qualifications. ❤️ A Journey That Touched Our Hearts During our visit, we witnessed extraordinary determination, independence and friendship. One of the most memorable moments was sharing lunch with the students and experiencing their warmth, confidence and positivity. This documentary also explores the global and Indian burden of blindness, its common causes, and the importance of prevention, accessible education and rehabilitation. 🙏 They Need Our Support Antarjyoti Balika Vidyalaya relies on charitable donations to sustain its activities.
