Here I go through one painting for each day of a past Doodlewash monthly watercolour challenge. I talk about the inspiration for each painting, as well as list the colours used for each. I was getting to know the Daniel Smith brand of watercolours and challenging myself to be creative with colour mixes. Which painting had your favourite colour combination or subject? Have you done a 30 day challenge before? Beginners: You do not need many colours to get started :) 3-12 is the typical amount of colours that you can create almost any hue from.
