Changes in biodiversity are driven by many different environmental pressures, as well as human interventions such as habitat restoration or farming. In the UK, citizen scientists have collected a wealth of biodiversity data, which provides evidence on how and why biodiversity is changing. The Terrestrial Surveillance Development and Analysis (TSDA) partnership has undertaken work with this data to explore both drivers of past and current biodiversity change, as well as methods to assess the potential impact of future interventions. Join us in this lunchtime talk to hear about different aspects of the work, with relevant findings for better understanding the impact of protected sites, biodiversity responses to climate change, ecosystem health, and the impacts of interventions such as tree planting.
Led by representatives from the TSDA Partnership (British Trust for Ornithology, UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, JNCC).
This webinar series goes out to all four governments and CNCBs and is an opportunity to raise awareness of JNCC's work and generate discussions.
