Acrylic Sailboat Ocean Painting // Hand-painted seascape // Canvas Painting

Acrylic painting process of a beautiful ocean, populated by colorful sailboats! Beach lovers especially will love this canvas sea painting. This was a commissioned painting for a beach lover in Florida, painted over the course of seven nights. I did quite a bit of thinking before starting on this thing, trying to reason through the layers of elements to get the reflections, boats, and water all convincing. In the end, it stood up to critique and met the client's expectations.
