15 VERY CLOSE UP TAKEOFFS and LANDINGS at FRANKFURT | Frankfurt Hahn Airport Plane Spotting

Featured Aircraft: A320s, A330s, A340s, B747s, 767s & B777s! Frankfurt Hahn Airport, despite the name, resides around 100kms away from Frankfurt itself and is used as a freight hub by various different airlines. You can see Silkway West, Skygates, Atlas Air and Magma Aviation sending their 747s to Hahn on a regular basis along with a lot of other airlines that turn up here and there! I filmed this video as a part of my European tour. I stayed around Frankfurt for the first half of my trip and would travel constantly to Hahn when something interesting was coming in to the airfield. The clips in this video were filmed throughout August 2021, but predominately most of the clips were filmed on the 19th of the month from an entire day shoot at Hahn. Hahn provides some excellent views of the airport that can be found around the perimeter of the airport, with several high ground outlooks and the airport parking garage also providing a nice view of the action on the ramp and runway. Some notable highlights included in this video is the Volga Dnepr Ilyushin IL76, which is an uncommon visitor to Hahn. The AirX Airbus A340 was also based at Hahn during my stay in Europe, flying between Europe and Asia. Featured in this video is the Airbus A340-300 flying a service between Germany and Hong Kong.
