This is a song about New Brighton, Wirral. it was once a busy Seaside resort, but has sadly declined over the years. There is now a big regeneration project taking place to bring some life back to New Brighton. Bob Buckle says: 'This song was written by Bella Tweedale and is based on her experiences as a child, along with her two sisters, of making the trip on the ferry every Sunday in the summer to New Brighton. New Brighton is a seaside town on the Wirral Peninsular, on the other side of the river Mersey from Liverpool, in the North West of England. It's also where I was brought up as a child, and although like most places it has changed a lot, I still love visiting especially in the summer.' The pictures are a montage of New Brighton in its hey day. Performed by: Bob Buckle
