Grave Encounters In Lakeview Cemetery

Beer Wine & Spirits take on the Lakeview Cemetery in the old north end of Burlington Vermont. The cemetery is the final resting place of veterans, state reps, and US senators among others. Within the cemetery are reports of apparitions seen by specific graves and feelings of being watched. Built in the mid 1800's, there's plenty of history behind the location. There's also a building next to the cemetery which was once home to St.Joseph's orphanage and was run by the C Catholic church. Years of countless allegations of child abuse forced the church to sell the property and it stands as an apartment complex today. There are rumors of unmarked graves of children who inexplicably died while being housed in the orphanage years ago.
