I snapped a wheel stud on my car… and then somehow managed to snap ANOTHER one while filming. 🤦‍♂️ In this video, I replace the broken wheel studs without a wheel stud installation tool. Since I didn't have the proper tool to pull the new studs through the hub, I had to improvise. I used a screwdriver to hold the wheel stud in position while getting the lug nut started on the first few threads. Then I used a tire iron to tighten the lug nut while pulling the wheel toward me, which allowed the stud to gradually pull itself into place. This is a real-world DIY repair showing how I got the job done with the tools I had available. 🔧 In this video: 0:00 I Broke a Wheel Stud 0:26 I Broke ANOTHER One 1:21 Removing the Rotor 2:32 Installing the New Wheel Stud 3:06 No Wheel Stud Installer?
