Nordic God Baldr —The Death of the Shining God (Mistletoe & Fate) — (Rune Version)

Cantus Mundi I Baldr —The Death of the Shining God (Mistletoe & Fate) — (Nordic Rune Version) This song invokes Baldr — the radiant and gentle god whose light could not be harmed by iron, stone or steel… until Loki found the one living thing that had sworn no oath: mistletoe. This track is written in a raw, ancient Nordic style — as if sung by men of the longhouse, in the cold of Midgard, retelling Baldr’s fall by firelight in the deep night. Authentic old instruments: tagelharpa, lyre, bone flute, bull-hide war drums, lur horns. No modern synths. Just ritual power, breath and skin. Feel the loss. Remember his brightness. Baldr’s name lives as long as it is sung. #Baldr #Balder #NorseMyth #VikingMusic #NorsePagan #OldNorse #Asgard #Ragnarok #NordicFolk #Tagelharpa #Lyre #Lur #VikingChoir #BoneFlute
