In part one, we looked at uncovering and prepping the car for rust protection.
As before, my first choice of protector is Dynax S50 - not paid by them to say that and no affiliation to them or any other company product used in my videos. I use Dynax S50 as research indicates it to be at least as good as any other product and it does not shrink/crack in the way pure wax-based products do.
The weakness of Dynax S50 is it can eventually be 'rubbed off' if used as underseal. Dynax make another product for that but as I already have Hammerite Underbody Seal, a thick and resilient product with added Waxoyl, this will be put on top of the S50.
To summarise, the process is S50 to kill and protect against further rust; Underbody Seal to protect the S50 and other areas where the existing underseal is still in good condition.
The S50 was given 24 hours to 'cure' before the underseal was added on top.
When editing the video, I could see a few points have been missed and these will be sorted before the winter. This car, as a rule, is not driven in the rain or on wet roads.
If any questions, please ask.
Apologies if Youtube add subtitles - yes, they are pretty much always rubbish.
