#92. INDUSTRIAL SPY: OPERATION ESPIONAGE || The Dreamcast Files

FOLKS! The Dreamcast Files returns with the flat-out most obscure game in the entire North American console library: the quixotic, baffling strategy game INDUSTRIAL SPY: OPERATION ESPIONAGE, a game that on a surface level seems like a really rad proposition: a sort of heist simulator where the juice is in the pre-planning and the subsequent execution, but I-SPY is mindbogglingly overcomplicated, and designed so that every level has dozens of random rooms with nothing actionable in them, and hundreds of options within each room, nearly all of which are just misdirection, it just feels like a game designed to waste your time, and while conceptually it's still pretty fascinating, ultimately it richly earns its unknown status.
