The Space Between: Shirokanedai to Shinagawa — Discovering Tokyo Along the Way [4K with MAP]

Two familiar places. An unexpected Tokyo in between. What might you discover on a walk from Shirokanedai to Shinagawa? Starting along the leafy Platinum-dori, this walk takes us through quiet residential streets and into Takanawa, where the distinctive tower of the Takanawa Fire Station's Nihonenoki Branch rises above the neighborhood. From there, we continue along Futatsuenoki-dori and Zakurozaka, eventually making our way to Shinagawa Station via Ichozaka. The scenery changes gradually—from greenery and peaceful residential streets to the busier surroundings of one of Tokyo's major stations. It's the places along the way, rather than just the destination, that make this journey worth taking.
