STORY SUMMARY: Jimin, a vampire, raised Taehyung, who is now an adult. He loves him so deeply that he dreams of growing old by his side. The only way for Jimin to become mortal again is to evolve into a werewolf. To uncover the secret of this transformation, he captures Jungkook, a solitary werewolf hunted by monster hunters (Stray Kids), and keeps him prisoner. When the hunters put Taehyung's life in danger, Jimin summons a dragon capable of taking human form: Yoongi (Suga). Along the way, he is helped by his two butlers, Namjoon and Jin, childhood sweethearts who are prevented from being together because of a terrible curse. J-Hope also joins this extraordinary adventure. Every video is written and directed by my mother, a human author: Nym Lily. We first write the story (French and English) and share it with our readers. If needed, we revise it based on their feedback. Next, we take a chapter and breaks it down into individual shots, usually around 100 to 150 shots for an 8-minute episode of Tame Me. Here's an example of a shot: [Shot 88] Camera framing: Close-up shot Visual elements: Tenebria is in Jimin's arms. She looks at him with a glimmer of desperate hope. Actions/expressions: She pleads with Jimin, her hands nervously clutching his clothing. DIALOGUE: T: Save him, Dad, just like you saved the hunter! These shots are then turned into image-generation prompts that are processed by AI. We use one or two image-generation AIs to create the visuals. We continuously refine the prompts until we achieve the composition and emotional impact we want. We then edit each image in Photoshop, correcting mistakes, adjusting colors and lighting, adding more life to the eyes, and making countless other refinements. After that, we animate the images using AI. Once again, this requires prompt writing and constant adjustments to achieve the desired result. Very often, we create a starting image and an ending image and ask the AI to animate the transition between them. This allows us to maintain full creative control over the final outcome. Once everything is ready, we import it into our editing software, where we add text and visual effects. We now also create music using AI because it allows us to achieve the exact atmosphere we want. This, too, requires extensive prompting and experimentation. There is no magic button. Alternatively, we purchases music from Epidemic Sound. Afterward, we create the thumbnail in Photoshop and manage the social media promotion. I (Lily Kimchi) then handle the English translation and subtitles. Creating a single 8-minute video requires between 100 and 150 hours of work. That's why it can be frustrating to see only an "AI" label under our videos instead of something like: "Original artistic work created by an artist using AI as a tool." The software and AI services we use cost approximately CAD $200 (about €150) per month. As a result, neither my mother nor I are currently paid for our work, despite working up to 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, nearly 100 hours per week since 2020. We rely entirely on donations, which currently only cover the production costs of Hunger for You.
