I've been wanting to cover this song for a while, so as soon as RichaadEB announced his cover contest I basically dropped everything and got to work. I threw everything I had at this cover, playing over 20 instruments live for it (everything is 100% acoustic, no VSTs used), and I definitely feel I pushed myself to a new limit and created a new standard of production for myself. I've been really enjoying creating covers the past few months and putting them out here on YouTube, so I look forward to creating more as I learn more and become a better musician. :) I'd like to give a HUGE thanks to: David, for helping with filming and lighting, letting me borrow your camera lenses/mics/piano, and being an all-around badass housemate; Parz, for letting me borrow your camera, kick mic, and drum kit; Kevin, for lending me your tenor; Sara, for letting me use your lovely lap harp; UW taiko, for letting me rent a freaking taiko drum; and Jordan, Tiago, Luci, Kristin, Mkla, Mike, Akash, and Ryan for your mixing advice and support! Thank you for watching ❤ -- Composed by Kow Otani Arranged and Performed by Jacob Pernell -- Let's Be Friends! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ♪ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2fYhTeK
