Download link in pinned comments! Description - An alternate sequel campaign to the Frozen Throne with the Lich King where WOW and the Founding of Durotar never happened. This campaign is told through multiple perspectives making you play undead, naga and blood elves. Thoughts - Holy shit what a mission this was! After the shorter first three chapters I was definitely not expecting such a huge and intense macro mission that takes me nearly 2 hours! But what a rush after completing it. This mission is definitely not easy, since one thing I noticed in the beginning is how frequent the enemy attacks are with constant Gryphon harass and sometimes the golems and mortar teams come too. The worst wave is the Magni wave because not only is he a big threat because of his insanely damaging Storm Bolt that can instakill a hero from less than half health but he also brings in Steam Tanks that demolishes your towers. During that wave I mostly tried to focus down Magni first and then the steam tanks. Also I mostly tried to build my defensive structures in a circular manner around the Necropolis so that they were all in range to attack enemy waves, although they are extremely vulnerable to Gryphons' hammer splash damage so you definitely need 2-3 Acolytes auto repairing like I did, and when they get inevitably focused down by enemies like Warcraft AI usually does (they HATE repairing workers), you gotta rebuild them. Ok now, thats enough for the defense part, now the other parts of the map that are really fun: I do love how there is a forward path into Magni's base but its ACTUALLY a big hassle to go through because of so many mines and towers that can see your shades if you position them to make the mine visible. Its not just an invisible wall telling you "No, you cant go through there, find another way", its ACTUALLY not worth going through because of the time you will take doing this. Although one gripe I will say of this map is doing the side quest to attack the orc base with a dwarf to activate the orc base is really not worth doing imo. I know they say they get rid of the mines on the way, but eh, you don't have to go that way anyway. Also if you activate the orc base you have a higher chance of running into their attack waves accidentally and having to kill them. So probably better to just let them stay dormant. I think the composition of the army I chose in this episode worked well for me. Necrowagon combo is just so good to start a base siege as undead as you can just flood the base with skeletons and then move in with your army. Although, have to say, moving into that first base near the waygate is CRAZY through the intended way because of how those cannon towers are placed up on the hills and they decimate your army while you are desperate getting vision with your wagons to destroy them... So my advice is just: screw that entrance. Try to land on a different side of the base like I did in this video. There is a part where they just cleared the trees where I had a much easier time doing the siege. The obsidian statues helped a lot too honestly, I am glad I brought them. You can make atleast 1 destroyer to eat those annoying lightning shields from the Medivh-looking units they have, I tried to do that for the last base but the destroyer got easily focused down. I wonder if Frost Wyrms would've been good in this mission, I didn't bother creating any because I thought those gryphons wouldve torn them apart. But it might've been good idk. After getting through the first base honestly the Magni base was much easier to get through since you don't have that annoying chokepoint anymore, Magni himself is a problem if he has enough mana for an Avatar, but usually when he spawns out of the Altar he doesn't have enough mana, which is great. Varimathras' and Kelthuzad's Ultimates are both really helpful in this mission. Doom is great for some extra chaos damage, and Death and Decay just demolishes groups of towers. What an insanely fun mission this was! Looking forward to what more adventures this campaign has in store for us.
