After a loss, ordinary tasks can feel difficult. This gentle guide explores small supports for daily life, with room for your own pace, preferences and relationship with the person who died.
In this video:
Choose a manageable point of structure around food, rest or the morning
Ask for a specific kind of practical help or company
Allow flexible ways to remember someone
Plan gently around important dates
Seek professional support when daily life is difficult
General education and practical support, not mental health diagnosis or treatment. If grief makes daily life difficult, speak with your doctor or a qualified mental health professional; you do not need to wait for an anniversary. If you are in immediate danger or cannot stay safe, call local emergency services.
