Welcome to Day 8 of our 19-day family journey across Vietnam from North to South! 🇻🇳 We started our morning surrounded by the stunning limestone islands of Ha Long Bay, exploring Luon Cave by traditional rowboat and visiting a local floating fish farm. We also take a quick deep dive into the history of Ha Long Bay's floating hotel district—how a handful of tiny wooden tourist boats back in 1988 transformed into 97 registered overnight luxury cruises! After soaking in the peaceful morning views, reality hit—we had to get back to Hanoi and race through city traffic to catch our flight to Da Nang! We officially bid farewell to Northern Vietnam and arrived in Central Vietnam, landing in Da Nang just in time to grab dinner at an urban night market.
