Island Lake - Milky Way Photography on a solo canoe trip - Beautiful Canadian wilderness + dark sky

With clear skies and the Perseid meteor shower near peak, I depart on a solo canoe trip to photograph the shooting stars, and our own galaxy, the Milky Way. I head to to Island Lake, which, because of no development nearby, is situated in a pocket of very dark sky, especially so close to the major city of Toronto. Join me as I navigate up a shallow and windy creek and into the canadian wilderness where I find a stunning campsite for an awesome night of stargazing and astrophotography.
