🇬🇧 William and Catherine Visit Scotland | 17 SEP 2026

On September 17, 2026, Prince William and Princess Catherine (known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland) spent a vibrant, action-packed day on the Isle of Bute. Their visit perfectly balanced environmental charity work, local sports, and warm community engagement. 🏑 Playing Shinty at Rothesay Joint Campus: The couple traveled to Rothesay Joint Campus to meet with young athletes and try their hand at shinty, a traditional, fast-paced Scottish stick-and-ball sport. Both William and Catherine grabbed sticks to take some shots on goal. 🚜 Environmental Work at Ettrick Bay: The royal couple volunteered with Beachwatch Bute, a local charity dedicated to keeping the island's coastlines clean. They spent time on foot alongside local volunteers and school children picking up smaller pieces of plastic and trash along the shoreline. Th royals made a stop at the Anchor Tavern, a traditional local pub. They took the time to speak with the pub owners, staff, and patrons about the island's economy, community spirit, and tourism before heading back to the mainland. #royal #royalfamily #royals #princewilliam #princesscatherine #princessofwales
