In this quick and easy tutorial I replicate a piece of concept art that Eyvind Earle made for Disney's (1959) classic animated film, Sleeping Beauty. For this demo I focus on how to mix tonal values to create a cohesive look. Eyvind's palettes consisted of lot of "toned" down hues using grey in the mix, and in this case high value (adding white) tones. I will be cover this in detail soon!
