Libmanan, Camarines Sur. Where Time Stands Still - A Heritage Tour

We recently joined a Heritage Tour of Libmanan, Camarines Sur organized by the University of Nueva Caceres Museum and Libmanan Municipal Tourism, Culture and Arts Council. The tour started in Naga City where we took the old PNR Train to Libmanan. From the Libmanan Train Station we drove by van to many of the municipality's heritage attractions such as the Dilanco Ancestral House, the Old Rice Mill, the Libmanan Cathedral and the Ruins of the Old Belfy, the Art Deco Municipal Building, the Old Post Office, and the Morales Mansion. In between, we learned about Libmanan's history from local volunteers, tasted local delicacies, climbed the 116 steps Bulalakaw Hills, tried the "skates", and met some of the friendliest people on this side of Bicol. It was a nostalgic trip to place where time stands still.
