Original: montgomery (e.g.    • FINAL RIDE: Montgomery Hydraulic Elevator ...  ) Modernizer: ‪@KONEamericas‬ Drive: In-ground hydraulic Floors: T (TRAINS), *S (STREET) CAPACITY 1361 KG OR 3000 LBS OR 18 PERSONS First off, the hall LCD PIs (Position Indicators; i.e. accessible device for indicating elevator position) are too small and low yet unnecessary especially since the elevator already has glass doors and serves two floors total. Second, as of this posting, it still has no hall, in-car, or both lanterns (i.e. audible and visual accessible devices for indicating elevator arrival to riders waiting outside including blind and deaf riders) even if they’re in the form of lantern + PI combos. Third, there are too many unnecessary LCDs that I question #TransLink’s seriousness on budget gaps:    • TransLink’s funding gap, explained   For this elevator, had each call button panel been mounted to the other side of their respective doorway, two in-car door jamb lantern + PI LCDs with lantern chimes is already enough. Because the hall button panels been mounted as they are, each elevator side is served by one floor which each floor is obviously a terminal landing, and each floor has a new doorframe, #TransLink/BCRTC and their contractor must install hall lanterns even if it means replacing each existing hall LCD with a larger LCD that functions as a lantern + PI combo placed on the same side as respective call button panel at least 183 cm from respective floor with lantern chime at least 10 dB above ambient noises.
