I replaced my modern tech with "ancient" tech for a full day. Real tasks, real work, real limits — no spec sheets, no formal review. Just me trying to actually live with a 3rd-gen iPhone SE and a 2017 Intel MacBook Pro like it's 2026. Here's the twist: this iPhone looks like it's from a decade ago — old-school Home button, Touch ID, thick bezels — but it's running an A15 Bionic chip from 2022. So the real question isn't "is it slow?" It's: does a device that looks ancient actually keep up when you use it for a real day of work, messaging, browsing, and everything in between? And the MacBook? My M1 Max MacBook Pro is sitting in the drawer while I push this 2017 Intel machine through actual tasks. Some of it works surprisingly well. Some of it... doesn't. Can I survive on old-looking tech in 2026, or do I want my modern devices back the second I wake up? Watch and find out with me. Follow along if you like tech experiments, honest results, and seeing what a modern setup is actually worth. #TechExperiment #iPhoneSE #OldTech #MacBookPro #Apple
