Materials: 6 – 0.6 in / 1.5 cm buttons, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle, measuring tape. Special abbreviations and techniques: k – knit p – purl RS – Right Side WS – Wrong Side k2tog – knit two stitches together **m1R (make one knitwise right) – pick up the strand between the previous and next stitch from back to front, knit through the front loop (1 stitch increased) **m1L (make one knitwise left) – pick up the strand between the previous and next stitch from front to back, knit through the back loop (1 stitch increased) **I use them the other way around!
