HUNTR/X Tribute | Golden

Well, it's hard to believe it, but it's been a year since KPop Demon Hunters hit Netflix, and became the first proper animated sensation since Frozen in 2013. Now, I'm not usually the type to edit a single anniversary for things I like, as I like to wait until I have more footage to work with. But goddammit, this film means so much to me, even all these months later. It has really woken up that part of me that loves contributing to a larger fandom again, which hasn't happened since Sk8 the Infinity. (Only this one has lasted longer by comparison.) There is so much that I could say, but at the end of the day, I just adore this film with my whole heart. I love these characters, this world, the songs, and I cannot express how happy I am that it's gotten so successful. The soundtrack has dominated every awards show, won every award that matters (I'm still mad Golden lost Song of the Summer last year), and has reached a wider audience than anyone expected. I can't wait to see what else this universe has in store. I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel, and especially...Seeing my babies again. For the love of god, give me back my Jinumi!
