What makes a mineral a mineral? Why are some minerals shiny, colorful, or incredibly hard? And how do these building blocks help us understand the earth God created?
In Chapter 3 of Discovering Earth Science, we explore the fascinating world of minerals. Students will learn how scientists identify minerals, examine properties such as color, streak, luster, hardness, cleavage, and fracture, and discover how minerals become the building blocks of rocks.
🎧 Road Schooling is designed to be listened to anywhere: in the car, at home, or while following along with the chapter. The course keeps real middle and high school science content while lowering the reading barrier for students with dyslexia, ADHD, working-memory challenges, or slower processing speed.
