Cruise Fever

Lyrics by: me Voice by: AI ----------------------- Verses are based on the Poem 'Sea Fever' by John Masefield Chorus was added because every good Sea Shanty needs one ----------------------- [Verse 1] I must go down to the seas again, to a cruise ship port nearby, And all I ask is a Disney ship and a bar that serves Mai Tais. A balcony view, and a very short line on Deck Eleven when pizza’s baking, Then back for a drink and a nap after the excursions we’ll be taking. [Chorus] Heave away, my hearties, the booking page is calling, Save us seats and pour one out, the waves are gently rolling! Heave away, my hearties, let the good ship point to sea, With my love beside me, that’s the place I want to be. [Verse 2] I must log on to that site again, find any cruise I can, I bought a placeholder onboard last trip—now I need a plan. And all I ask is fast connection while my password I am trying, At two AM, when I NEED a cruise, that spinning wheel makes me feel like crying. [Chorus] Heave away, my hearties, the booking page is calling, Save us seats and pour one out, the waves are gently rolling! Heave away, my hearties, let the good ship point to sea, With my love beside me, that’s the place I want to be. [Verse 3] I must go down to the seas again, to the Disney cruise-ship life, To claim the last two seats at Bon Voyage with my wife. And all I ask is second seating, with my fellow-rovers, And strength enough to see the bar bill when this cruise is over! [Final Chorus] Heave away, my hearties, the booking page is calling, Save us seats and pour one out, the waves are gently rolling! Heave away, my hearties, let the good ship point to sea, With my love beside me, that’s the place I want to be. [Outro] With my love beside me, and a Mai Tai by the sea!
