Are You Protecting Your Peace or Avoiding Accountability?

“Protect your peace.” It’s one of the most popular pieces of advice today. And sometimes, it’s exactly what we need. But what if we’ve started using “protecting my peace” to avoid uncomfortable conversations, accountability, correction, conflict, or admitting that we were wrong? Wisdom isn't the absence of difficult conversations. Sometimes wisdom is knowing when a difficult conversation needs to happen. Because peace isn't pretending nothing happened.
