Ep 7: Jupp Bani (Pauri 3) — Gavai: To Be in Singing | Living Gurbani Series Episode 7 opens with Ardaas itself under the microscope — “Pritham Bhagauti Simar Kai” reread not as goddess-invocation but as Gyan Khadag, the double-edged sword of awareness and the just action that awareness demands. From there, Prabh and Ravinder Singh retrace the arc of the series so far — Mool Mantar as musical notation rather than belief statement, Pauri 1’s question of how to become true, Pauri 2’s Hukam as the order written into us, not imposed from outside — before stepping into Pauri 3. The conversation turns on language itself: how the moment we say “I am part of it,” we’ve already built the separation we’re trying to dissolve. Haumai is named directly here — not just ego in the everyday sense, but the very process of individuation, the force that spins Ek Onkar into the many. And if Jap Ji is a score to be sung rather than a doctrine to be held, Pauri 3 asks the next question: what does it mean to actually be in that singing — Gavai — rather than merely perform it? Unhurried, exploratory, two voices thinking out loud rather than teaching — in keeping with the rest of the series. 🔗 A collaboration between OnePrabh and KhojGurbani.org Previous episodes: Ep 1 — Attention & Emotion Ep 2 — Naam / Simran (Ang 740) Ep 3 — Mool Mantar (Jap Baani) Ep 4 — Mool Mantar Part II Ep 5 — Jupp Bani, Pauri 1 — What is Highest Practice?
