Inspiration Comes Calling - Nadi

Sometimes inspiration arrives when we're doing almost nothing at all. In Inspiration Comes Calling, Nadi wakes feeling restless and lazy at the same time. Rather than forcing herself into action, she lies quietly, breathes, and waits. Somewhere beneath the stillness, a feeling begins looking for expression—and gradually her thoughts start moving. “First there comes a reason Something to achieve A story that needs telling Or just something I believe.” Nadi once worried that someday the ideas might stop coming, or that she might lose the joy she found in creating. With time, she has discovered something simpler: what matters most isn't whether anyone else considers the work important. The pleasure of creating is reason enough. The song begins with one woman lying in bed waiting for an idea, but opens into something almost everyone can recognize—that restless feeling that tells us there is something inside waiting to be expressed. Inspiration Comes Calling is a warm, intimate song about creativity, patience, and learning to trust the mysterious moment when an idea begins taking on a life of its own. Sometimes we don't have to chase inspiration. We only have to be quiet enough to hear it calling. Inspiration Comes Calling Words & Music © 2026 Joe McMichael Performed by Nadi 🎷❤️
