Sonic Fan Fest VI : THE MOVIE

KEEP UP WITH SFF (Discord Link + Octy's Socials) : https://octy.carrd.co PLAY THE GAMES : https://sonicfanfest.carrd.co SUPPORT ME + GET ACCESS TO MY INDIE GAME & ANIMATIONS :   / octy   Thank you everyone for attending this year of Sonic Fan Fest (ex Sonic Fangames First)!! I’ll see you next year for even more Sonic Fan made content and underrated indie games !! Sonic Fan Fest is an all new style of broadcast presentation that aims to bring the sheer creativity, determination and incredible games and art that comes out of the Sonic Community. I’ve always regarded this community as something special, from fangames, to mods, indie games, rom-hacks, illustrations, musics, animations… It’s like a Sonic Nintendo Direct, except the main course is fan-made, and the side dishes aim to bring the most personality out of the show, something that I wish was more present in the game industry. Some games like Sonic Unleashed 3DS, Sonic P-06, Sonic Momentum, Sonic Storm or even Sonic Rush ReRun were presented in this show, and some were even interviewed to talk more about their process and the behind the scenes. I want to keep nurturing that special spark that brings the best in people together. This human feeling, the sheer excitment from seeing your favorite creators collaborate together is something I’ve been looking for a very long time and I am always so excited that so many people believe in this vision and want to take part in it. I’m so grateful to all of you who also read this lengthy description, as it shows you’re caring a lot about what everyone here has managed to accomplish. Whether you’re bored and scrolling through sonic youtuber videos and saw this one stick out for some reason, reading the description while the countdown is playing and you don’t know what to do, a person coming back every once every few months to check SFF news, an artist who’s looking for inspo, or if you’re an avid fan who joined the discord and scrutinizes every crumb of content on my channel, welp I think I managed to do something that should satisfy all of you. You just gotta wait a year in between editions HAHAHAAA Sonic Fan Fest was created by me Octy, and it started all the way back in 2022. After five successful editions, a bunch of sleepless nights, discord calls, more take-outs than I’d like to admit, and dozens of hours of editing, lots of Guest VAs like Chaomix, Bickuribox12, Mr Lag, SFProductions, Sonic Infinity Plus’ lead developer, Sonic Wilds’ lead developer were able to get into the show. Fadel GamesCage, Evan Mardiculous, Sam Procrastinates, and a surprise guest finally joined the show in this latest installment as well, and just like one person in my Dms pointed out it truly is a Super Smash Brothers of the Sonic Community LOL I wanted to make a Smash Bros-like Reveal Trailer for each one of them but I unfortunately didn’t have enough time :( Who knows ? If I get to know enough editors, maybe we can get them to make sick trailers in next year’s edition? Can you tell I’m writing a bunch of cool words to increase the referencing of this video lmfao I didn’t want this to be corporate tho The presentation is also carried by the artists that are part of the SFF Team, or were commissionned to create art for the show like Lallelol, TcoolDzn, Laqiraly, Lochlin Blue, GAL, Pocho, MrPocho (no they’re not the same Pochos haha), and more !! The least I can do to honour their work is to properly present and reach out to trusted creators in order to showcase their art, and put them on the spotlight, just like the fangame creators !! Everyone here is united around a single goal : emphasizing, nurturing, inspiring, showcasing, sharing, watching what the Sonic Community has to offer. And boy, is it a beautiful community. So take a seat, grab yourself a snack if you don’t have one already, get comfy and let’s LOCK THE F- IN Timestamps : After the presentation (no spoilers ;)
