Restoring a Heavily Rusted Vintage Coal Iron

In this video, I restored a very old rusted charcoal iron. I cleaned the rust using hot water and caustic soda, buffed the metal, and applied an oil-heat black finish. I also fixed the broken bolts, repaired the handle, painted it golden, and protected it with clear lacquer. The final result turned out super clean and fully working!
