Solo Camping Through Montana: Storms and Campfire Nights Episode 3

Days 3 and 4 of our Tetons, Yellowstone & Glacier adventure didn’t exactly go according to plan. Day 3 was supposed to be a pretty simple reset day — a little fishing, showers, charging camera gear and electronics, and making some penne pasta back at camp. Then the thunderstorms rolled in. Lightning from those storms would start multiple fires across the area, and the smoke would end up following me for much of the rest of the trip. Day 4 put me back on the road toward Glacier National Park, and things started getting interesting again. We found an incredible campsite for the night, cooked dinner, slowed things down around camp, and got ready for what we had really been working toward — Glacier.
