DMS Holland recently upgraded an outdated rotor stabilizer system on M/Y Loyalist using our DMS MagnusMaster. For many older stabilizer systems, replacing only the control system is enough to extend their service life. In this case, however, the existing installation dated back to an early generation of Magnus stabilizer technology. With the rotor unit having reached the end of its operational life, a complete system replacement was the most reliable long-term solution. Using the existing foundation, our specialists installed a new DMS MagnusMaster system with minimal modifications to the yacht. From removing the outdated equipment to commissioning the upgraded system, the entire retrofit was completed in just five days, ensuring the yacht was ready for the season without unnecessary delay.
