St. Jude Novena Day 7 | Prayer for Hopeless Cases | Oct 25, 2026

Day 7 of the Novena to Saint Jude Thaddeus, patron of hopeless cases and desperate situations, for Sunday, October 25, 2026. We pray the novena from October 19 to 27, 2026, before the feast of Saints Simon and Jude on October 28. Today's meditation: The Flame of Pentecost. Why do so many images show Saint Jude with a small flame above his head? Pray with us from home: Scripture, a short meditation, a moment for your intention and the traditional Novena Prayer to Saint Jude, in large text that is easy to follow on your TV. 📖 Today's Scripture: Acts 2:1-4 🕯️ The Novena to St. Jude (2026): Day 1 (Mon, Oct 19): The First Novena Day 2 (Tue, Oct 20): Called by Name Day 3 (Wed, Oct 21): The Question of Saint Jude Day 4 (Thu, Oct 22): When All Seems Lost Day 5 (Fri, Oct 23): Keep Knocking Day 6 (Sat, Oct 24): Faith Like a Mustard Seed Day 7 (Sun, Oct 25): The Flame of Pentecost Day 8 (Mon, Oct 26): Keep Yourselves in the Love of God Day 9 (Tue, Oct 27): A Home Built on the Apostles 🙏 PRAYER TO SAINT JUDE Most holy Apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly the intention I have placed in my heart today, and that I may praise God with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O blessed Saint Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen. 🙏 Share your prayer intentions in the comments so we can pray for one another. 🔔 Subscribe so you never miss a day of the novena.
