As Jake searches for answers, familiar voices begin coming from places they shouldn't, and something in the mountains seems to know exactly who he's looking for. This is the third film set in the Mimic world, built around a voice-copying demonic entity that imitates the people we trust in order to get close. If stories about doppelgangers, skinwalkers, changelings, uncanny human impostors, or something calling your name from deep in the woods have ever unsettled you, this scary short film lives in that same nightmare. Out here, hearing someone you recognize doesn't necessarily mean you found them. The Mimic world is continuing to grow with every film. Each story reveals another piece of what this demon is capable of, how it hunts, and what happens when they learn enough about the people around them.
