Weekly on Friday Practice Sessions: Live from the Studio Above the Clouds Because creativity is a practice, not a performance. Every Friday from 11:00 AM–Noon Eastern, the camera comes on, and I will get to work. No script. No polished demonstration. And I will pretend, no pressure to produce a masterpiece. The practice of making. Some weeks I'll be painting. Others I'll be working with pottery, glazing, writing, brainstorming, editing, or tackling whatever creative work is waiting in the studio that day. This is look inside the process as it really happens; the experiments, the problem-solving, the quiet moments, the mistakes, the oh $h!^ moments, and the small victories. There may be conversation. There may be long stretches of silence. But there is gonna be work.
