this took so incredibly long. like so incredibly long. i am in disbelief that we cleared, we are finally free!! this raid is brutal and an hour and thirty minute endurance test where you just barely get to slip up without wiping.
the original team was drap, shrimp, and myself but due to the world's first being claimed and shrimp's general interest in video games declining we had Heavra fill in for us. I am very grateful to her for taking time out of her week, especially since she had already suffered enough in clearing first, to run this with us in this situation. It only took 4 fulls with Heavra, but like the journey to get here was an entire week of grinding and getting better everyday with the original team. I even had to buy a new pc because mine finally gave out LOL, so that is a very silly fun fact about this journey.
with shrimp and drap we had gotten to 4 koregos runs, a few met untimely ends, the one that would have been worlds first ending to me being launched off koregos during flying phase, which is why in this run you hear my teammates calling out diving and i stop doing damage so i get my fingers on Alt F4.
it was really cool seeing the strats we had cooked up become commonplace, especially since they were not even bad/weak by nature of being the first clears, which is typical for things that are cleared very early on (see day one raids). Figuring out how to damage Iatros took about a week, since he just takes 66% less damage from non-supers as a Wyvern, which meant everything that was high damage was very risky or annoying, and we finally landed on the chill strat of triple well (converts damage to super damage if you are the caster, therefore bypassing the damage resist). Agraios we had the strat it was just incredibly annoying to learn the mechs for no rng, but after we got it down it was very comfortable and way better than running Agraios back all the time for RNG. Epoptes was very painful since it was just super long. It was not very hard. Koregos was by far the scariest encounter, due to the titan role being super isolated and spamming finishers in a horrible arena where there are one shot potentials everywhere. On top of that, the chronon wyvern spawns for fun after already dunking, minotaurs can instantly kill you with their laser beam if you are unlucky while they despawn (lost the run right before this to that which was awesome).
overall, very happy to have gotten this done. i am very blessed to have friends crazy enough to run this and it might be my last challenge in destiny 2 that is this difficult as everything else i have left is either boring or not nearly this hard.
