We Bought Land in Ghana… Now the Real Work Begins | Day 2

We bought 7 acres of land in Ghana, but owning land and actually understanding what to do with it are two very different things. Welcome to Day 2 of camping on our land. Before making any big decisions about farming, building or developing the property, I wanted to actually spend time here — walking it, working it and learning what this land needs. Today, that meant WEEDING. A lot of weeding. One thing I’ve quickly learned is that many people in this area rely on chemical spraying to clear their land. I’m trying to approach ours differently and be more intentional about how we work with the ecosystem rather than constantly fighting against it. This project is very much an experiment. I don’t have everything figured out, and that’s kind of the point.
