The Jerry Mash — I Found My Eyeball in Someone's Drink (Halloween Special) Something strange happens at quarter past the three. Jerry's lost his eyeball. There's a wooden leg involved. Someone's been dancing on the vicar's car. And for reasons nobody can adequately explain, there may also be a llama. Welcome to The Jerry Mash — a ridiculous Halloween horror-comedy song from Velvet Grave, with a vintage horror-host vocal, spooky 1960s novelty-rock atmosphere, a funky groove and one increasingly questionable night out. This is a Halloween Special. Normal service may or may not resume afterwards. 🎃 THE JERRY MASH — LYRICS 🎃 [Verse 1] I danced on the vicar's car, It was quarter past the three. Jerry had lost his eyeball And couldn't really see. But from the distance, In my one good ear, A deep haunting melody, I'm sure I could hear. [Verse 2] We found that strange melody, Did Jerry and me. It was a group of night dwellers, Such a sight did I see. Some were doing a strange new dance, Others were singing out of key. Some girl asked Jerry for a dance, But poor Jerry still couldn't see. [Chorus] Dance in the dark, Underneath the moon. Round and round, It's the witching hour soon. Shake what you've got, And whatever comes loose. Nobody cares If you've got an excuse. Dance in the dark, Till quarter past the three. If you've still got both your legs, You're doing better than me. [Verse 3] I asked a pretty young thing, Would you like to dance? She looked me up and down and said, You've got no chance. I asked another, She said that she would. But she only had one leg, And the other one was gone for good. I said, don't you worry, We'll manage, I beg. Then I found her by the dustbins A perfectly good wooden leg. [Verse 4] Jerry found his eyeball Floating round in someone's drink. He popped it back into his head And gave a little wink. He said, I can see now! Then walked into a wall. I said, Jerry, that's an improvement. Last time you missed the hall. [Bridge] The vicar turned up angry, Still wearing his pyjamas. He said, who's been dancing on my car? We all pointed at the llamas. There weren't any llamas, But he didn't need to know. Someone struck the organ, And away we had to go. [Final Chorus] Dance in the dark, Underneath the moon. Round and round, It's the witching hour soon. Shake what you've got, And whatever comes loose. Nobody cares If you've got an excuse. Dance in the dark, Till quarter past the three. If you've still got both your legs, You're doing better than me. [Outro] Jerry lost his eyeball again. I said, leave it. We'll find it next Halloween. Original song from Velvet Grave. If you've somehow made it this far with both eyeballs and both legs intact, you've done better than Jerry. #HalloweenMusic #HalloweenSong #TheJerryMash
