Mortgage-Free: A Community Milestone for People Helping People

On December 27, 2024, People Helping People paid off the remaining $114,000 mortgage on its longtime headquarters—an extraordinary milestone made possible by the generosity of donors, community partners, and neighbors who believe in PHP’s mission. Our headquarters is more than a building. It is a place where children, individuals, families, and seniors can find food, housing assistance, health resources, personalized support, and hope during some of life’s most difficult moments. Becoming mortgage-free strengthens PHP’s financial foundation and allows more resources to support the people and programs at the heart of our mission. It also ensures that this important community home will remain a place of help, dignity, and belonging for generations to come.
