Boarding a Ferry! 🚢 Real Truck POV Germany to Finland DAF XG 4K 60 fps No music no Talking Part-02 Autobahn Drive to Lübeck Port
Hello everyone, friends!
Welcome to Part 2 of my journey through Germany, heading to the port city of Lübeck, where we will board a massive ferry bound for Hanko, Finland.
This is a full daylight, first-person POV truck driving experience. The camera angle is set up perfectly so you can feel exactly what it's like to sit behind the wheel of a real heavy rig. Many people often comment that this looks just like Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2), but everything you see here is 100% real life!
🚛 What happens in this video:
Autobahn Cruising: Smooth daylight driving on German highways at speeds of 89 km/h - 90 km/h (approx. 55 mph - 56 mph).
The 45-Minute Break: I pull over to do a mandatory safety check on the truck and trailer, then stretch my legs and walk around the parking lot on this beautiful sunny day.
Ferry Boarding: At the end of the video, we finally arrive at Lübeck port and drive onto the ferry. This was a unique experience for me because the truck got parked on an incline right in the driveway to the very top deck!
Cabin Tour: I'll also show you around my cozy cabin inside the ferry where I'll be resting during the sea crossing.
⚙️ Technical & Safety Specs (USA / Euro Metrics):
Total Weight: 39 Tons (approx. 85,800 lbs).
Outside Temperature: +20°C (approx. 68°F). It’s pretty warm, and in this weather, a trucker must closely monitor tire temperature! When rolling on hot asphalt, the air inside the tires expands. If the pressure exceeds 11 bars (approx. 160 PSI), the tire can explode. My truck has built-in pressure and temp sensors, but the trailer doesn't — which is why I stop and check it manually quite often.
The Reefer (Fridge Trailer): The refrigeration unit is running non-stop to maintain a steady +3°C (approx. 37.4°F) inside the trailer. Once we are fully parked on the ferry, I will connect an electric cable to hook into the ship's power so I can turn off the trailer's noisy diesel engine.
Watch closely to see how the trailer tracks perfectly behind the truck during tight turns and overtaking maneuvers!
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ultimate maritime trucking journey. Wishing you all a great watch and an amazing mood! Don't forget to hit like and subscribe if you enjoy the ride! 👍
