Kullu - the Valley of Gods where ancient architecture still tells a story. In the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh, near Naggar, we explored ancient Kath Kuni houses, built like Lego, with no cement, no nails, and no mortar. Layer by layer, stone and deodar wood are locked together in a modular system that makes these homes strong, flexible, and safe in earthquakes. When I first saw them, I was struck by how they look like small stone fortresses, built in layers of wood and stone. I had never seen anything quite like them. Through these houses, we learned how people live, how traditions are preserved, and how life can stay in harmony with nature. These homes have survived for centuries, even major earthquakes, carrying the quiet wisdom of generations.
