T-Hog in the Heat!! | Reading and Northern 2102 Iron Horse Rambles July 02, 2022

Recently restored Reading and Northern T-1 class 2102, a 4-8-4 once built from a 2-8-0 consolidation for the Reading Railroad in 1945, is seen at several scenic locations along the RBMN mainline in east-central PA. Of note is the 18 car consist, which the 2102 handled solo, putting out quite a show for all to witness. Several scenes of the 2102 working hard through the countryside are reminiscent of the original Reading Rambles. Myself and Casey at JAIL Rail had an excellent time chasing this magnificent locomotive, and I am excited to share this footage with you all! Side note: Congratulations to the steam team for their efforts in completing the restoration of 2102! The locomotive will surely be enjoyed by crowds of people for years to come. The hard work has clearly paid off!
