Cape Wrath Trail - The Final Chapter | Sandwood Bay Wild Camp

After failing our Cape Wrath Trail challenge early on in April 2026, we decided on a series of overnighters, taking in the best parts of the trail. The final micro adventure was hiking into Sandwood Bay via the remote Strathan Bothy. The beach camp turned out to be a once in a lifetime experience with a bucket list sunset, a midnight aurora and the most incredible sunrise I've ever witnessed.
