04 - I'M YOUR DRAGON

EVELYN CROME | 04 - I'M YOUR DRAGON Central theme: Reclaiming an identity someone else tried to control. This is probably the most immediately theatrical song in the collection. The dragon represents a person whose strength has been suppressed, whose identity has been shaped by someone else's demands, and whose eventual defiance is interpreted as a threat. The song's real strength, however, is its breakdown. The narrator asks whether freedom is possible without revenge. That question stops the song from becoming a simple retaliation anthem. The repeated title, rising guitars, heavy drums, and explosive final chorus are tailor-made for a memorable performance. The supposed monster may simply be someone who has stopped submitting to control. #Evelyn_Crome #alternativerock #housemusic #newmusic2026 #indiemusic #2026 #deephouse #atmosphericalternative #cinematicelectronic
