Decmber 2009 Sedona Hotel

Step back in time with real, unfiltered footage from the 1980s and 1990s. 📼 This channel is dedicated to preserving and sharing vintage 8mm, Hi8, Video8, and VHS recordings as a digital time capsule of everyday life. These videos capture the world as it actually looked decades ago — old neighborhoods, streets, stores, cars, malls, vacations, family events, local businesses, technology, fashion, signs, buildings, and ordinary moments that were never intended for the internet. Today, these recordings have become little pieces of history. If you grew up in the 80s or 90s, you may recognize things you haven't seen in decades. If you're younger, here's a chance to experience what everyday life looked and sounded like before smartphones, social media, GPS, streaming video, and the modern internet. 📼 ORIGINAL VINTAGE FOOTAGE Much of this material was originally recorded on VHS, VHS-C, Video8, Hi8, or 8mm videotape and has been digitized to preserve it before the original media deteriorates. 🏙️ WHY POST THESE VIDEOS? Not every piece of history happened on the evening news. Sometimes history is an old shopping center, a forgotten restaurant, cars driving down a familiar street, a family vacation, an airport terminal, or simply people going about their lives. Those ordinary scenes can become extraordinary with the passage of time. If you recognize a location, building, business, vehicle, event, or person in the video, leave a comment. Your memories and information can help document the history captured in these recordings.
