The Simpsons Game | PS2 feat. A Surprisingly Good Simpsons Game - Old, Maybe Not Gold

We recently played The Simpsons: Hit & Run, so we thought we'd follow it up with The Simpsons Game. Surprisingly enough, this game is far superior to Hit & Run. By a mile, no joke. Fight us. Upon first glance this game looked absolutely shocking when we entered the game, but first impressions can be a mother. We were incredibly wrong. Don't get us wrong, this does have it's gripes, but its controlling is incredibly smooth, the humour is bang on, more so than any Simpsons season released in the last 10 years. There are plenty of fighting arenas, but it's split up nicely between puzzle sequences and platforming so to not get offensively repetitive. It may be Old, Maybe Not Gold, but it's definitely worth a play if you're in the market for an undercover gem. Highly recommend , fo sho.
