Steelers

The Steelers just fell to the Browns 27-24 on a Thursday night in Cleveland, and this instant reaction breaks down every big problem that got exposed in the Steelers' 2-2 start. For one drive, the defense looked great, then Aaron Rodgers threw an interception and the momentum flipped. From there, the Steelers secondary problems showed up fast, starting with the Joey Porter Jr. trade, a rookie in Daylen Everette getting tested, and Rayshawn Jenkins getting benched after a disastrous first half. I also cover the bright spot in Robert Spears-Jennings and his first career interception, plus why T.J. Watt and Cameron Heyward looked like the only defenders truly showing up. On offense, I get into the Steelers offensive line sacks, the accuracy and mobility issues for Rodgers, and why Mike McCarthy's play calling had the team throwing forty times against only seven runs while Jaylen Warren averaged over five yards a carry. I also talk about how Roman Wilson and Darnell Washington gave the offense some life, the late comeback, the final drive that let Deshaun Watson and Andre Szmyt win it, and the questions facing Omar Khan on roster moves.
