Converting my Tamiya Lunchbox to The A Team Replica Working Lights [2022]

Welcome back to the channel! In this video, I take on a fun and exciting RC project — converting my Tamiya Lunchbox into an A-Team-inspired replica, complete with working lights and plenty of custom details! The Tamiya Lunchbox is already one of the most recognisable and fun RC models around, but I wanted to give mine a completely different look by transforming it into a tribute to one of the most iconic vans from television — The A-Team. THE BUILD This project is all about taking the classic Lunchbox and giving it an A-Team-inspired makeover. I'll be working on the body and adding details to help recreate the unmistakable look, while also installing working lights to make the model stand out even more. Seeing the lights working for the first time really brings the project to life! There are always plenty of challenges when modifying an RC model, from getting everything to fit correctly to making sure the electrical components work properly. It's all part of the fun of building and customising your own model. A-TEAM INSPIRED RC BUILD The A-Team van has become an iconic part of pop-culture history, and this build is my own RC tribute to that classic design. I'm aiming to capture the spirit and appearance of the famous van while keeping the fun and character of the Tamiya Lunchbox underneath. This isn't just about making the model look good — it's also about making it something I can actually run, drive and enjoy! WORKING LIGHTS One of the main features of this conversion is the addition of working lights. The lights give the Lunchbox a completely different appearance, especially when running the model in lower light conditions. There's something very satisfying about seeing a custom RC build come together and then switching on the lights for the first time.
